Our Church looked lovely on Sunday 9th November 2025, for our Remembrance Sunday Service.

Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary to Joyce & Keith Watchorn today Tuesday 4th November 2025.
Congratulations from all the congregation.
Enjoy your special day!

Once again we will be selling Christmas Cards on behalf of the Lodging House Mission. These will be available from the 26th October 2025 in the Hall of Fellowship.
We will also be happy to accept monetary donations which help to offset the cost of meals which the Lodging House Mission provides on a daily basis to homeless people.

Dear (future) friends,
I’m writing this article to introduce myself. I’m Euan, your new student minister. I will be with you from now until the last week in March and over that time I hope to get to know you well, have the chance to work with many of you and lead you in worship.
Now, a bit about me. This is my first placement, and I am right at the beginning of my formal training for ministry. This is a journey that has been a long time in coming, however although I am at the beginning of my ministry journey, I have been a part of the Church of Scotland for some time. My home church is Queens Park Govanhill parish church, over on the south side of Glasgow, I worshiped there, became a member and eventually an elder there. Prior to starting my ministry journey I served as fabric convenor and presbytery elder. I’ve also served as interim moderator in a number of churches across Glasgow.
Before I started my journey into ministry, I was a high school Music Teacher and have a love of all things music related (I still conduct Sanquhar and district silver band) so I was especially delighted to be placed in Springfield Cambridge with all your musical heritage and the wonderful music groups you have. I am very much looking forward to hearing and visiting these groups over the coming months. I have been very involved in my own church groups growing up and I am very much looking forward to visiting the many groups at Springfield Cambridge Parish Church.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you over the coming months, I’m always happy for a chat (especially if there’s tea involved) so feel free to come and chat to me anytime.
With every blessing
Euan.
